Sweet Skulls Kids Crafts

Drop in and learn about the vibrant Mexican holiday, Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Kids will create two colorful crafts inspired by traditional sugar skulls and Papel Picado banners.

Drop-in Time: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Craft 1: Paper Plate Calaveras (Sugar Skulls): Kids paint or color a paper plate white and decorate it with bright markers, glitter, sequins, and jewels to create a beautiful, smiling skull face.

Craft 2: Simple Papel Picado Flags: Children will use folded, colorful tissue paper and kid-safe scissors (or pre-punched shapes) to create simple, patterned decorative flags, learning the basics of this traditional Mexican paper-cutting art.

Ages 3–10 years old

Cost $10 per child (Includes both crafts, a juice box, and a snack.)
